Orlando Pirates are confident their goalkeeper Ricard Ofori will be available for the World Cup in Qatar.
Initial reports said Ofori was out of the tournament after missing Orlando Pirates’ game against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, but the South African side have denied this.
Orlando Pirates say that Ghanaian 🇬🇭 goalkeeper Richard Ofori was excluded from their squad in the Carling Black Label Cup tie against Mamelodi Sundowns yesterday because he suffered a cold.
He is NOT injured.

With Jojo Wollacott ruled out of the World Cup with a fractured finger, Ofori is likely to be the first-choice goalkeeper in Qatar.
The Black Stars will begin their training camp in Abu Dhabi on Monday. They will play Switzerland in their final pre-tournament friendly on Thursday, November 17 before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.
Ghana begin their World Cup campaign on November 24 against former European champions Portugal at Doha’s Stadium 974.
